JICA, the development wing of the government of Japan, in partnership with the Ministry of Innovation and Technology of Ethiopia (MinT), is holding a pitch event that showcases Ethiopian startups to global investors.
Titled the Ethiopia Startup Innovation Pitch, the event is open for investors and companies from Japan, Europe, the U.S., Ethiopia, and anyone interested in Africa, and aims to demonstrate the attractiveness of Ethiopian startups to the rest of the world.
Selected from 114 companies, eight Ethiopian startups will present their pitches at a virtual event that will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (EAT).
Pitches will be open to all participants, and the participants’ votes on the day of the event will determine the winner.
Eshi Express, Guzo Technologies, Zafree Papers, Infinity Technology, Joy Agtech Engineering, Lersha, Taskmoby, and Anabi Agritech Solutions are the startups that will be pitching at the event.
