Addis Investor Meetup: A Mixer

The Internet Society Ethiopia Chapter is thrilled to host the Pre-IDC event. This unique gathering brings together Ethiopian and African internet development leaders, policymakers, technologists, and civil society advocates to address key challenges and opportunities in internet accessibility, digital inclusion, and policymaking in the region.
The theme Internet for All Ethiopians highlights crucial discussions on enhancing internet access and digital inclusion in Ethiopia. Key topics include the development of internet infrastructure through ROAM-X IUIs, recognizing internet access as a fundamental human right and its impact on local communities, and strategies to connect underserved populations via community networks.
The summit will also address the regulatory framework governing telecom services in Ethiopia particularly concerning cloud service provision, as well as exploring various facets of digital inclusion to ensure equitable access for all citizens.
