The Great Rift Valley Innovation Summit is a first-of-its-kind event organized by the Ethiopian Diaspora Trust Fund (EDTF) to drive tech-enabled innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture, healthcare, and education. The summit will bring together investors, startups, job seekers, entrepreneurs, and key ecosystem players to collaborate and shape Ethiopia’s future. 

GRVS will feature a job fair, workshops and panel discussions, and a Pitch Competition, which will award $750,000 in equity free funding to 18 impactful early-stage and growth-stage startups. The summit is a unique platform for networking, learning, and scaling solutions that address Ethiopia’s most pressing challenges.

Who Can Participate?    

Startups seeking funding are encouraged to apply for the Pitch Competition. Organizations and businesses interested in showcasing their products or services can reserve a booth in the Exhibitor Hall.

COMPACK Ethiopia is a packaging industry exhibition that brings together professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to showcase innovations and trends in the packaging industry. Attendees will benefit from seminars, workshops, and presentations led by experts, while exhibitors can network, gain exposure, and generate leads, making this event a key platform for growth in the Ethiopian market.

Who Can Participate: Open to packaging professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, and businesses in the industrial engineering and packaging sectors.

Located in the heart of Addis Ababa, the Haya Hulet Mazoria Hub promises learners convenience. With 180 workstations and 179 informal seating areas, the Hub can accommodate over 350 knowledge seekers at any given time.

The Ethiopia Museum of Art and Science is a 15,000 m2 (160,000 sq ft) science museum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed along with other high-ranking officials on 4 October 2022.

The museum regularly hosts several interactive exhibits that display local solutions in healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), service industries, data analytics, manufacturing, and robotics among others.
