You’re invited to a transformative event co-hosted by Mesirat, focusing on the integration and prosperity of Ethiopia’s gig economy within the broader African market.

Mesirat is five-year multi-phase program to create opportunities for 1 million highly skilled workers through creating, supporting, and nurturing 100 GPMs across the country. The Program co-created by the Mastercard Foundation, Gebeya Inc and a consortium of Partners is comprised of four key components —recruitment, vetting, upskilling, and gig matching.

The Forum for Social Studies (FES), UN-Habitat, and the Urban Center present "Urban Conversation: Reimagining Cities and Jobs" a discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities in urban education with a special look at ‘The Role of the Gig Economy in Ethiopia's Future Workforce’.
