The Finwise Acceleration Program by EDI & UNCDF is Now Open: Apply

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), in partnership with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), invites early-stage and growth-potential fintech startups from across Ethiopia to apply for the FinWise Acceleration Program specialized initiative designed to advance last-mile digital financial inclusion.

This program supports innovators building digital solutions that expand access to financial services for marginalized and underserved populations, including women, youth, rural communities, and residents of peri-urban and tertiary cities. 

Eligibility Criteria

• This program is specifically targeting promising fintech ventures with a commitment to expanding digital financial services (DFS) across Ethiopia.
• The program is open to both early-stage and growth-ready fintech startups.
• Your solution must be building solutions for last-mile communities or actively strengthening CICO agent networks.
• The program is open to startups from all regions of Ethiopia.
