Secure $80k Funding & Support: Apply Now African Health Social Enterprises

The Health Equity for Africa Program, led by Boehringer Ingelheim and Villgro Africa, is looking for social enterprises in East Africa that are driving healthcare innovation and expanding access to quality care.

Villgro Africa, in partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim, has launched the Health Equity for Africa Program, offering up to $80,000 in catalytic funding and a comprehensive 12-month support package for social enterprises aiming to improve healthcare access in underserved African communities. 

 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Registered for-profit business operating in at least one African market
  • Minimum annual revenue of USD 250,000 
  • Seeking to raise USD 1 million or more in the next year
  • Demonstrated market traction and a clear social impact, improving healthcare access for at least 60,000 people annually
  • Compliance with healthcare sector regulations and investment standards

Benefits
