IKI Small Grants is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) backed by the German government aiming to enable small and medium‑size organizations worldwide to implement locally grounded climate and biodiversity actions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered non‑profit organisations or private companies (only if project is strictly non‑profit)
- Based in an ODA‑eligible country
- Operational for at least 3 years, with average annual revenue over last three years between €60,000 and €500,000
- Projects must focus on one or more of: greenhouse gas mitigation; climate adaptation; carbon sink / forest/conservation; biodiversity conservation.
Benefits
- Grant funding between €60,000 and €200,000 for project implementation
- Project duration: 12–24 months
- Capacity‑building support and institutional strengthening from implementing agency
