The Hult Prize is a global student startup competition. Teams (2–4 students) build for-profit businesses that align with at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) for a chance to win $1,000,000 in seed funding.
Eligibility
- Must be a student (undergrad, grad, or PhD) in a degree-seeking program.
- Teams of 2–4 members.
- All team members must be at least 18 years old by Feb 28, 2026.
- Business idea must be for-profit and address at least one UN SDG.
Competition Structure & Benefits
- Five phases: Qualifiers → Nationals → Digital Incubator → Global Accelerator → Global Finals.
- Mentorship, design thinking support, and a startup journey to build and test your solution.
- Access to a global network of students, entrepreneurs, and investors.
- $1 million in seed funding for the winning team.
- Hult takes ~10% equity via a warrant as part of its support.
