Ethiopia Invites Startups to Showcase at Algiers Conference

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE), through the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (MInT), invites startups to apply for participation in the "Startups Conference Africa," taking place in Algiers, Algeria, from December 5 to 7, 2024. This conference is expected to present a valuable opportunity for growth-stage startups to showcase their innovations and connect with industry leaders.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this opportunity, startups must meet the following criteria:

• Must be registered as a legal entity and provide a Certificate of Registered Companies.
• Should have been in operation for a minimum of 2 years but no more than 7 years.
• The business model or product/service must be technology-based.
• Startups should be at a stage where they are ready to raise seed funding or higher.
• The company representative must possess a valid passport.

N.B. Participants will be provided with a showcase booth at no cost, allowing them to present their innovations effectively. However, startups must cover their own expenses for airfare and hotel accommodations.
