The Women in Innovation Fund (WiNFUND) offers a range of benefits for female health innovators across Africa, aiming to transform healthcare access for vulnerable populations.

Recipients gain access to funding up to $250,000, specialized training, and mentorship from industry experts, academia, and global health professionals. This support is tailored to help organizations scale their innovative healthcare solutions effectively.

The fund prioritizes innovations that directly address barriers to healthcare access, such as affordability and quality of services. This focus on sustainable impact ensures that supported projects contribute to long-term improvements in healthcare systems.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the WiNFUND, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• The organization must be founded or co-founded by a woman or have a woman in a C-level leadership position.
• Organizations should be at the revenue stage, demonstrating a viable business model with potential for growth.
• Innovations must aim to improve access to healthcare for vulnerable populations, addressing issues like affordability and availability.
• The organization must be based in Africa.
