Apply Now for the 2025 Green Innovation Lab in Ethiopia | Reach for Change

Are you an aspiring Ethiopian entrepreneur with a green, sustainable, or climate-focused innovation? The Green Innovation Lab (GIL), run by Reach for Change Ethiopia in partnership with the IKEA Foundation, is now accepting applications for its 2025 cycle. 

The Green Innovation Lab is a pre-incubation program designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs developing solutions that promote environmental sustainability, create green jobs, and enhance climate resilience. Building on the successes and lessons learned from the 2024 program, this year’s cycle has been refined to better address critical challenges faced by entrepreneurs, including business registration and formalization.

Through hands-on training, expert mentorship, and tailored support, the Lab will guide you in developing, testing, and validating your Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The program aims to launch and formally register 45 new waste management and circular economy enterprises in 2025, helping to drive Ethiopia’s green transition.

Who Should Apply?

• Early-stage entrepreneurs based in Ethiopia 
• Are 18 years or older
• Have a green or climate-focused solution or idea, such as: Renewable energy, Waste management, Circular economy, Climate-smart agriculture, Eco-friendly products or services
• Are in the ideation, pilot, or early growth stage
• Are passionate about making a positive environmental and social impact
