African innovators and AI-driven startups can now apply to the Compute Accelerator Programme, part of the G7-endorsed AI Hub for Sustainable Development. The six-month initiative, running from October 2025 to March 2026, supports African ventures with compute infrastructure, mentorship, and global scaling opportunities.
Eligibility
Open to AI innovators entrepreneurs, startups, research-led teams from 14 priority African countries (Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Tanzania, Mauritania, Tunisia) working on high-impact solutions in areas like health, agriculture, education, climate, finance, and governance.
Benefits
In partnership with leading AI ecosystem actors across Africa, Italy, and the G7, the AI Hub for Sustainable Development will assist 120 AI ventures through two programming tracks. The Compute Ready Track targets 20 market-ready ventures with immediate compute requirements, while the Compute Curious Track supports 100 early-stage innovators with high growth potential but limited technical readiness.
