African AgriTech & Climate Startups: Join the SAIS 2026 Investment Readiness Programme

Apply now for the SAIS Investment Readiness Programme 2026, offering African agri-tech start-ups up to €20,000 in support, €50,000 working capital loans, investor access, and fully sponsored events.

Are you an African tech start-up driving innovation in agriculture, food, or climate? The SAIS Investment Readiness Programme 2026 offers a free, year-long, tailor-made support programme designed to get your start-up investment-ready and scale your impact. The programme focuses on agriculture and Agri-adjacent sectors such as climate, livestock, energy, biotech, fintech, logistics, and circular economy innovations.

 

Benefits

  •  Up to €20,000 in technical assistance budget (advisory, legal, marketing, certification, product optimization, etc.).
  • Working capital loans of up to €50,000 (9-month maturity, 1.5% interest).
  • €10,000 in digital advisory from an international IT consultancy firm.
  • Fully sponsored trips to Africa Tech Summit (Nairobi) + sector events.
  • Investor access through pitch sessions, curated introductions, and fundraising guidance.
  • Join a community of 100+ African agri-tech portfolio companies.

 

 

Eligibility

  • Open to all African startups in agriculture, food, climate, and related sectors 
  • Strong business model, team, technology, traction, and impact.
  • Preference for local founders and gender-diverse teams.
  • Companies registered anywhere in Africa except South Africa (unless with dual registration).
