i3 Africa is looking for early- and growth-stage ventures that:
- Are focused on serving African markets.
- Leverage technology and data to improve healthcare delivery or product distribution.
- Demonstrate traction and scaling potential.
- Impact patient access through quality, availability, affordability, accessibility, and visibility.
Benefits
The Investing in Innovation (i3) Africa program offers African Healthtech startups access to markets through partnerships with large healthcare organizations, up to $225,000 in grant funding, and tailored support to meet partnership readiness requirements. Participants benefit from bespoke deal facilitation to secure strategic partnerships, as well as communications and advocacy support to amplify their impact globally. These benefits are designed to help innovators scale their solutions and improve healthcare access across Africa.
Eligibility:
- Companies must be focused on serving African markets. Preference is given to African-led and African-owned businesses.
- Innovators must leverage technology and data to improve healthcare delivery or product distribution.
- Companies should be at a growth stage with demonstrated traction and scaling potential.
Selection Process:
- Apply: Submit a compelling application.
- Evaluation & Review: Applications undergo a rigorous assessment process by an expert selection committee.
- Virtual Pitch Day: Top growth-stage innovators will deliver pitches to the selection committee on April 2nd, 2025.
- Cohort Announcement: Successful applicants will be selected and announced as part of the new cohort.
