The VC4A Startup Academy is an online resource for young African startup founders. The platform avails the latest industry insights, start-up tools and methodologies needed to take a business to the next level.

The VC4A Startup Academy offers direct access to expertise proven to work for entrepreneurs and investors operating across Africa. Founders can learn about the latest theory, download tools and listen to advice from 78 experts active in the emerging African startup ecosystem.

 

What Does The Course Includes?

The academy course are divided according to different life-stage of your business.

  • The first course is called, “Start your business”, and walks you through the founding stage of your startup. This courses targets founders who are in the in the phase of developing ideas and testing product-market fit.
  • Course two is “Grow your business”, and covers what’s needed after your startup finds its feet and is ready to scale up. This one is a good fit for startup founders who are looking to scale their operations when they are getting traction for their product or service.
  • Course three is “Finance your business”, where you will learn how to attract venture funding. This is one self explanatory, founders who are looking for external funding can make a good use of it.
  • Course four is called “Your legal business“, aimed at founders who want to learn more about the legal implications of setting up their business and getting their operations funded.
