Diaspora-Led Organization Offers Digital Skills Training in Ethiopia
GetFact Ethiopia, an organization founded by the Ethiopian diaspora, has announced plans to offer digital communication, leadership, and computer programming courses.
Last week, GetFact signed a partnership with Ethio Telecom to run a program called “Bruh Tiwlid” (also known as Bright Generation).
This program aims to connect the diaspora with students and teachers in Ethiopia, enhancing education and empowering the next generation of leaders in the country.
GetFact Ethiopia will also organize the diaspora to provide training on short and transformative issues at various times.
In a tweet, GetFact stated that their partnership with Ethio Telecom would support the global diaspora community in serving Ethiopia through virtual and in-person teaching, with the use of digitized centers and broadband connectivity. Read more.
