EdTech Mondays was launched as a platform to facilitate critical conversations on the use of technology for teaching and learning by bringing together key stakeholders that include policy makers, EdTech entrepreneurs, teachers, and parents.
An integrated, Africa-wide conversation about EdTech Monday airs monthly on CNBC Africa and the Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works Facebook page. Following the monthly Africa theme, Mastercard Foundation offices in Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, and Nigeria disseminate the discussions with the local context, experts, nuances, and case studies in collaboration with local EdTech support organizations. In that spirit, on Mondays, a panel discussion-type radio program airs on an Ethiopian radio station about contextualized issues affecting the Ethiopian population regarding technology in education.
